Hi, if i go into a reseaonaly deep puddle say 1-2 foot, with a little bit of speed my engine cuts out.

Any1 got an idea of how to slove this problem,
is it the electrics??

If you are splashing through it, your probably getting water on the distrubtor. Try duct taping a plastic bag over it the next time you try it and see if it fixes the problem.

Be are that there is an air intake behind the (US) drivers side headlight. The intake is very well designed to trap water coming in but too deep for too long and you will wreck the engine.

it is cutting out do to the fact that either the distributer cap is getting wet or the mass airflow conection is getting wet. as for the intake unhook it from where it turns into the body and turn it to the engine bay that will help a little. i coated all my sparkplug conections with high temp ( red ) silicon, massair flow sensor, and the distributor cap where it conects to the distributor. good luck water + engine = trouble just a thought. u can check out my web site at the bottom of my post for more water proofing. aka custom snorkle.

Yes I have one of those too. Go much deeper though and it comes in through the heater vents and side windows  

be carefull on what silicon you use near sensors, make sure it is sensor approved silicon sealer. mostly for the gas it puts off going into the intake will kill your o 2 sensor.
