i have a buick v-8 and my friend also hase one sitting under his carport the only reason it hasn't been used is 185hp with a 650cfm carb and stock everything else. i think ur best bet will be a 3.4 liter chevy or ford v-8 with aluminum heads on the ford motor and vortec heads on the chevy. the wieght is only 35lbs different the ford being heavier. and the ford will turn 400hp with AFR heads eshaust and a 800cfm card it is actually said to be 450 hp. i was being modest. my brother runs this exact 302 on his dune buggie on 35" irocs and can smoke a stock corvette. his problem is keeping the front tires on the ground.

Power mad you americans! just want a few more BHP and more torque, the price of fuel in the UK would send u guys out demostraighting on the white house lawn too.
