We just got back from Moab! It was lots of fun. We didn't take any hard trails, just moderate ones because we had to drive back home. We hit up: Tower Arch, Gemini Bridges, Secret Spire, Rainbow Terrace, and Klondike Bluffs.

It was lots of fun!

Here's some pics, you can see more here:

no, as a matter of fact, with the 5 trails we were on, we only saw one other person taking the trail with us. (exception of the cliff hangers if you saw the full site..)

I am really glad we went this time of year because we hardly saw anyone else. We were able to enjoy the beauty, without seeing hundreds of other people or worrying about breaking the truck (which will happen over Easter Jeep Safari).

It was a nice trip.

Yeah, they were cool! We drove right alongside them on the Klond ike Bluffs Trail. We couldn't get over the fact that the dinosaurs walked "right THERE". We were totally driving over petrified mud, and they walked right "THERE!".

Oh wow! I didnt realize thats what the rock circles were about..... I was thinking something along the lines of rock formations like the blair-witch when I saw them for some reason ???. Now that someone has pointed out what they are, and I go back and look at them, that is just kickass!  ;D

I still have ... kind of.. a rear view. The tire is mostly over to the right, but I can still see behind me. :) As for putting the tire on the roof... we can't, because my truck has to fit in the garage.  ::) Until we revamp our garage or buy a new house... that's kinda where it's stuck.

Yeah Heather, I know the limited view with the full size spare myself. Last time out I was saying to my passengers that I was having a hard time seeing the trees and WHAM!!  I hit a tree right on my spare and caved my tailgate in... :-/

Later,
Bill
