Transfer Case 4WD Wire Broken
« on: January 21, 2019, 09:47:40 PM »
I swapped out my transfer case today, and in the process I broke the wire that turns on the "4WD" light on the dash. Of course, it broke off right at the end where it attaches to the metal plug that screws into the TC. Anyone know where I can get a new one? This isn't a part that seems to be available at the usual online places. TIA

There are quite a few on eBay if you search for Suzuki Samurai 4wd switch.

Most are from India but a few are in the USA as well. Though they are all probably made in India now.

They fit your factory plug no problem.

I have one and it works great.

Note: I needed to slightly trim the probe tip because mine was just slightly too long and my 4wd light was on all the time. But that was an easy fix with a razor blade and cutting a little a time and reinstalling to make sure it all worked correctly.
