16v oil leak help
« on: February 10, 2004, 09:44:55 AM »
My bro's Kick(4door) has an oil leak that I'd like some pointers on before I dig into it. First, can the oil pan be removed without a lot of bleeding and swearing??? Second, the engine is only oily on the drivers side......the pass. side is dry as a bone. I'm thinking its the crank seal. Any ideas or suggestions?? Thanks.
You're right.........I don't understand.

For some reason the factory glued my
pan onto the engine, I replaced it with
the cork kind from Fel-pro and have
been happy with it.
