Which weber Carb
« on: July 16, 2012, 08:50:16 AM »
I'm in the process of swapping my 1.3 for 1.6 8v . I have a Thorley header and trail tough adapter being shipped.  I want to buy a weber carb also  . seems to be a lot of options, such as  water choke ,electric choke, manual choke  etc.     Would a k601 be a good choice.

Thanx Huff

None ;D If your putting in a 1.6 8v why not use the TBI? IF your set on a carb, get a Myside with HD carb.

Yes I looked into  the myside Zor kits .  its a 12 week wait.  I cant wait that long.     Whats TBI.  If its the original fuel inj. and manifold your refering too .  I just have the 8v donor engine with no ecm or wiring harness.

Another question.  Do I use the distributor that came with the 8v or do I have to use the distributor off the 1.3.

 Thanx
