I have a frt 3rd member from my sidekick that i was going to put into my samurai axle but the spider gear's are differant.the samurai 3rd member has a locker,did samurai's ever come with a factory locker? so is there any way to put my sidekick 3rd member into my samurai axle?

Call trail tough and he can set u up u need your carrier and the ring and pinion out of the sidekick and buy a spacer to move the ring gear over

I am guessing you are trying to put it onto the samurai rear axle?
No, samurais never had factory lockers (at least not in the US).
You could swap the sidegears from your samurai carrier into the trackick carrier (the locker should fit too....but trackick carriers only have a single crosspin, so the set up won't be as strong as the samurai carrier with the 3 crosspins).
Or you can swap the trackick ring and pinion over to the samurai third.  But that requires setting the pinion depth, setting up pinion gears, making sure the pinion bearing preload is correct, etc.  Quite an undertaking, if you are not familiar with setting up gears.

Yes, stock samurai front axles are 22 spline (same as 89-95 sidekick fronts).
Your choice on what you want to do....swap sidegears, or swap ring and pinions, or buy a 22 spline trackick third.
The 86-88 samurais had enclosed front carriers.  It doesn't mean it has a locker.
