Front brake hose options?
« on: March 28, 2012, 07:15:34 PM »
Looks like I am just about all set to change the front brakes on my '96 2 door Trackick this weekend.  I am upgrading to the 4 door vented disks, calipers, mounts and pads.  The only thing that I have not rounded up is new hoses.  Currently it is a stock suspension but I do have plans for lifting later this summer.  I think would be best to upgrade the hoses now but don't know what is avail for options.

What have everyone used for options of hoses?

FYI-- I do plan on keeping it IFS just lifted probably 3-4" ,NO BODY lift though.

Thanks in advance
Brad

I have been running a couple years with the 4 door brakes up front, through many front modifications, and am still using stock hoses.  I have not found any reason to change them.  The calipers are larger, so they take more fluid to operated.   They are more effective.
93 Tracker,XL7 springs & 1" raised spring pads in front with YJ springs in back, home built bumpers rear & front (w/winch), 2" x 4" rock tubes,  ARB front & rear, converted Sami rear to IFS, 33x12.5x15  aluminum rims, roll cage, 2.7L w/5 speed auto.
