Show me your storage set up
« on: March 13, 2012, 01:00:39 PM »
I am in the process of designing a way to pack and store my gear for up to 2 week trip in my Tracker. With that being said, I would like to see what other people have come up with for the back of their 2 door trackers, such as shelving installs, pull out drawers. Any thing will be helpful and pretty cool to see I am sure.

Thank you

i've been doing this for some time. the drawers are pretty secure if the gate is locked.
pack mule strap everything down.

i'm not much of a carpenter and it's a little rough.
i have no passenger seat.
i usually bring enough stuff for a week. easy.
'89 kick w/little motor, still got pieces of jeff's pucks, stan's sticks into 4.24:1 tcase, 31x10.5x15's, rear lockrite, kick power steering, some radios(kj6esv), bmw seat, other changes just because. done on the cheap.

I like the table on the tailgate idea. Was actually trying to figure out the other day how to take the inside panel off to build some shelved inside the door for cooking supplies, then have a cover over it that would drop down to be a cooking station.

I like the drawers. I will have a passanger for sure so will have to have that seat, but the back seat will not be in place so looking at using the mounts for that to secure a drawer system like this.

Thanks for the pics.

I've been pondering what to do for storage, too. Unfortunately (or maybe fortunately?) we have passengers from time to time, so I'll probably keep the back seat in.

Regardless, I dig the fold-out table idea, too.
