A blown fuse is the result of an overload or a short circuit - theoretically a defective pump could draw enough current to blow the fuse, and there's one way to find out - disconnect the pump and replace the fuse.
Now here's the catch - for a stock vehicle - we (any one responding to you) can pull a manual, if we have access to one, and know what fuse protects what circuit - on a modified vehicle, that's not so easy. Trail Tough should know, or, if you're lucky and someone here has a similar conversion, or is familiar with Trail Tough's work, you might get an answer.
Looking at a diagram for the 8v EFI - the fuse that protects the pump, also powers the ECU, the ignition and a bunch of other stuff - so it can be any one of those - or - none of them, if Trail Tough wired things differently.
My first step would be to see if Trail Tough can get you a diagram or go visit Ack's FAQ, get yourself the stock wiring diagram and hope you're lucky - by the way - there were two different 8v EFI systems, so you do need to know which one you started with - the fuel pump control circuits are different.
