Not for everyone but this is my remedy.  We like to woods ride a lot and by elevating things it gives plenty of leg room for 2 extra adults (both over 6').  Its the right height to just see over the truck (very fun) but not too high to see out of my rear mirror without passengers. Its also perfect to stand up in the back and hold on to the roll bar. This also frees up some storage space with for my recovery gear (bud light and lighter wood).  Couple of marine style cup holders for each friend and some oh crap bars for everyone.  2 bolts and everything comes out. 

FYI: This is not street worthy to say the least. Also too high for passengers on the street. The rear seat "pegs" fit into 2x2 box pretty nicely.  I did this "u" setup across the back to keep the new supports even and everything removable.
