I have seen the BDS kit on Ebay & was thinking about it verses the 2" urethane spacer kit how do you like the kit, any pros or cons on it?
So far I really like it. No complaints. Do note that it does ride noticeably stiffer than stock. I recently installed a Shrockworks bumper, and the ride seemed to improve a bit, actually. Not sure if I'm just imagining it, but it does feel like the added weight helps.
The kit comes with four new springs, front camber bolts, and new rear shocks. You can either re-use the front OEM struts and use their included strut extender, which is what I did, or buy longer struts. One thing to note: I had bought new Monroe Sensatrack struts to use with the kit (just figured, why not?), but the Monroe strut pistons have a slightly larger diameter than the OEM struts, so the strut extension would not work with the new struts, so on went the OE units again. No worries; when they go, I'll get OME or Bilsteins.
BDS has a great warranty. I did some intermediate and advanced trails in Tillamook State Forest with it a few weeks back, and it performed admirably.
