You may have better luck getting an entire 3rd member w/locker installed from an early Samurai and just drop that in. I believe, but it's before my cup of coffee, that the carrier has a different cross pin configuration on the spider gears and the lunch box locker may not work well with that. It's been awhile and I'm fuzzy on that.

A donor '86 to early '88 is what you should look for. The bulk of Samurai sales were '86 and '87.

Thanks Eric... I see them come up every now and again, and I'm in no hurry.  But I'll keep my eyes open too.

... I've got to open my housings up and count some teeth here real soon to be sure of what I have. Once I do that I'll be on a mission.

i have a front third with 5.12 gears with lockrite alrdy installed. 250 plus shipping. have a rear also but the gears and locker isnt installed in it yet. will do 450 plus shipping on both
