Thanks Drone637,
Pix added a Great Insight for when I get Home to my own shop.
BUT with working out of our job yard I had to do a temp fix for the drivers side until I get back to Wisconsin next week.
Being a Sunday, I couldn't find a "Line Mechanic" in the Yard to borrow a cutting wheel to get the small weld off the rear
Bracket.........
1st; I tore apart the slider assemblies. Yes litteraly, I had to break the nylon roller carriers, twist the rollers 90 degrees,
knocked out all these pieces and some spare bearing balls in the track to get the sliders out.
2nd; Then I shopped at "The Company Store" and found some 1/4 x 1 1/2 "Kripple Screws" (Self Drilling Sheet Metal Screw)
& washers and ran these thru the original seat slider mounting holes from the Sammy, into the Neon upper slider
channel. Had to bend over the inside Neon seat slider handle pivot brkts so the Sammy sliders were square
3rd; bolted it back into the "Timber Cruiser" and was out "Wheel'n" after lunch !!
Now the drivers side does sit a little high which will be cured after I can cut the rest of the slider off at home.
4th; The pass seat was pretty straight forward. I used a 2x2 1/8 " thick angle iron from the "Cut Off" pile, lined it up with
the seat support of the driver's side, bolted it to the floor, then the front Neon seat brkts to the angle iron. I used
5 fender washers on each rear slider mount(Another "Company store" find; they should lock these trailers up)
to raise the rear seat bracket
to a comfortable seat angle.
