Wheel Spacers
« on: April 13, 2016, 02:48:07 AM »
Mechanic told me today that my wheels don't sit correctly on the hub...
And that I need spacers.
I have dynamic rims 16x7-3
Can anyone give advice?

Thanks in advance

He might be referring to the opening in the rim isn't wide enough to sit down over the lip of the hub.  Depends on how much too narrow the hub opening of the rims are.  If it just needs clearanced a 1/16th of an inch, I'd take a die grinder to the lip of the hub openings and work them down gently until they do sit flat against the hub. If they are 1/4" too narrow, hub spacers would help you clear the hub interfererance... but what would that do to your tires and the tire clearance on the fenders when articulating?

Thanks mate, I've just found out that Suzukis are lug centric. So it's good news for me but I have to check to see if I have proper tapered lugs
