WTB.... Hurricane Rim / TSL Swamper
« on: February 13, 2011, 02:37:40 PM »
I am looking for a Hurricane rim size: 15" x 8" with a 5.5" lug pattern and a 4.5" or larger center hole. I am also looking for a TSL Swamper size: 34" x 9.5" x 15" in good shape.

If you have 1 or both of these please let me know and we can discuss a purchase price. Here is a pic of the combo:

I just sold a set of these for $450 to a guy who collects vintage parts.  You might want to try this company in Ellensburg, WA
The ones I had were 15x8.5.

The company in Ellensburg would have them.   You ll have to call and check if they have the bolt patterns you're looking for.

They are becoming very rare now.

Good Luck sir.

Thanks for the link I will give them a shout. $450.00 WOW!!! I gave $80.00 for all 4 of mine. I then spent about 8 hrs sandblasting them down to get all of the old black paint off of them.

I'm hoping to find some laying out behind sombodies shed or on the rusted out Ford F150 behind the barn kinda thing. Who knows maybe some will turn up.... at least I did get a reply....  ;D

$80 is a good deal.  I mean people will pay more if they are really desperate.  This guy was.  I didnt have it up for sale, he came over and looked at some antiques and some old ford head lights from 1935.  And when he saw the rims, he basically were shaking and offered me 350, and I was joking around by saying $450 you can have them.   He came back and took them.  He went on talking about looking for a set of these for long time.  *shrugs*

Thats Funny..... I'll look hard and long until I fall into some. Thats the nice thing about being older.... I know they are out there and no need to get into a hurry.

I could have bought a set for $200 with some old Dodge axles.... but they didn't have the bead lip.

I can buy a set on a Heep CJ for $500... but I don't want to deal with the Heep.

I have a full set of these but 1 of them doesn't have the bead lip so thats why i am searching. Once I find 1 I will move the other to be a spare. Thats also the reason for the additional Swamper.
