2.5 L engine mods
« on: February 13, 2011, 09:31:46 PM »
these motors are becoming more and more popular for engine swaps.. just wondering if anyone out there has any information on a company that has tuning capability for the engine. ideally if you were to turbo or supercharge the engine there would need to be some way to interface with the stock computer system to adjust things like ingnition, injectors etc.. If anyone know of a company that makes and engine software or interface software please pass it on..

thanks
Hutch

Really!  :-X

I'd at least start with the higher displacement / HP 2.7 if anything, FWIW.

Are you sure about this popularity swap? I haven't seen a thing on the subject to date. Certainty nothing in the after-market mod world in support of same. I'd be curious as well.

Im going to be doing 2.7L swap kits very soon.

I have the H27 in my suzuki with long tube headers and intake and exhaust and crank pulley and a few other nick nacks.

Im still running the H2% ECU and Mass air and Throtle body. You can search my name or if you want ill post up some links.

The kit will include a Mas air adapter tub to allow the 2.5 mass air be used with the 2.7 Throtle body.

The H27 throtle body is 8mm bigger i believe. With makes a huge difference on a high reving v6.

Im going to make a conversion harness to see if the H27 ECU will make a difference and i will dyno the both setups.

The H27 Ecu has a completely different wiring and has a Knock Sensor.
