Project 'Akuma'
« on: January 16, 2011, 04:29:35 AM »
A few years ago I bought this stock Suzuki Samurai Tin Top .
It has undergone a real transformation since then.
In the first phase some adjustments to the body were made.

Suzuki Samurai Tin Top Project 'Akuma'

Now it's almost time for the second phase:

Nissan Patrol axles (31 spline), Arb lockers front and rear and 37x12.5x16 tires!

For those who are wondering...  Akuma is Japanese for devil or demon.

WOW! Hellofa project, great fab work, Anyway we can slow down the slide show to get a better look? Are you still going to use the stock engine? I mean after all that custom work, a bit more power would seem like a logical step.
The usual stuff, and 2nd generation Air to liquid intercooled TURBOCHARGER

I'm changing the tires.
First I was using 235/85/r16 Recip Maxi 3D's (narrow 32 inch tires)
Now i"m going for 37x12.5x16 Maxxis Creepy Crawlers.

The gauges are from an American company 'Dakota Digital'

The push button is from E-bay.
Made in Hong Kong !
