Jeep spring questions?
« on: December 13, 2010, 03:30:48 PM »
I did a SAS on my 4 door kick 8) and now i need to lift the rear. I heard cherokee coils and ford ranger coils fit the rear kick.
About hom much lift will stock cherokee coil springs provide for my rear?

I currently have OME springs with 1 inch spacers and need to go about 3 more inches of lift to level it all out. So i guess i need roughly around a 6inch lift spring.(which spring to get?) ANy ideas? And yes i already know about the ball joint and extending the links etc to get it to all work.

Thanks

Jeep springs will give you 4 to 5 inches of lift in the rear depending on the weight of your rig. I put V8 grand cherokee fronts in the rear of mine plus 1.5" spacer. Mine is heavy with external cage, full size spare and gear
94 Kick with bigger tires
99 Vitara 2wd
