I heard that the severe whining coming from my transmission is some sort of bearing but I can't figure it out this thing whines like crazy any thoughts to test? I know its not the diffs or wheel bearings.  THANKS AHEAD OF TIME
1987 Suzuki samurai BONE STOCK
(SOLD)1990 Samurai 1.6 8v swap, Arb front air locker, spool rear, RRO coil suspension, Chromoly front axles, 33x13.5-15 Swampers, ARB Bumpers, Slider, fender flares, 6.5:1 transfer case, True beadlocks, 1.5" wheel spacers,Roll cage. All in all a lil over 10k in parts uuuggghhhh!!!!!(SOLD)

just pull the trans, and get a rebuild kit... don't worry about the gears or syncros... they are generally pretty good still, you can do it all, or just do a bearing rebuild. they are simple simple simple!!! easy and smooth. just remember what order your gears came off the shafts, and put them back on in the reverse order. I have done tons, and they just are way too easy.

Where's the best place to buy the kit I'm very weary of opening up the transmission my self but will consider all my options

I would have to do a search, but I remember the kits are like 80 bucks most places, I only paid like 60 or 63 at a certain site, and they were top notch... I will look for the site and post back
