Are you talking about a newer 16v?
96 Tracker LSI, 2.5" Pro Comp lift with cooper 30X9.5 STT tires.  A bit of trim and beating to make the front work.

This is a 95 sidekick and it is slowly loosing water from the rad.  I am fairly new to  Suks and thought there might be a easy way to do this.  Finally Bit the bullet and started tearing things apart.  Out came the rad, alternator, a bunch of stuff on the top of the engine, stiffeners etc.  Took a lot of pictures for reassembly.  ended up with the 3 small hoses behind the water pump that had pin holes in them.  Nasty things to get off.  lots of skinned nuckles by this point.  threw away those damn spring clamp things and bought the screw type hose clamps.  I have been told that they are hard on the hoses but at least I got them in there and tightened them  up.  Another whole day to put it back together, good thing that I am retired.  Anyway It seems to be working fine and I dont seem to be leaking any water.  actually I feel pretty good about it all So I am going to have a go at the transfer case, It will not go into 4WD.  Those chilton books do not seem to be much help though.  Anyway I will probably be asking for advise on the transfer case or who knows I might figure it out by myself
Tks for the interest...have a nice day
