At the wrecking yard today there were two Trackkicks left
the old man is going to retire soon and crushed a lot of Sidekicks, Trackers, and he used to have many, many Samurais. Pretty sad, since I don't remember seeing ANY of them all too trashed, on the west coast we don't have salt/rust issues as much either so they were all good tubs, if anything, that's the saddest part.
Anyways, of the two rigs, one was a 97 Suzuki Sidekick Sport 4dr auto 1.8L. It has a factory strut tower brace across the top of the engine. It's 40 bucks, the guy said, if I wanted it. Seems reasonable. I'm sure I could resell it for that much if I had to.
Question is, would it fit on my Tracker with an 8v engine? Would it clear the air intake tube, under the hood, etc? Doesn't seem like there's much height there, but wondering if someone else has done it.
My rig is a 90 Tracker 2dr with an 8v engine.
