My 87 does that too,  all stock,  I'm going to have an alignment done and rebuild my front brakes.  I dont think its my steering box, since that has pretty much zero slop in it.

I think it might just be a samurai design thing, or it might be alignment, a brake issue, or a wheel bearing issue, depending on how well yours has been cared for.

What type of wobble is it?  One of the most commas issues is the tie rod ends becoming worn, this introduces the death wobble quite easily.  Pull your tie rod's off and inspect them, if they are loose at all replace them immediately.

Tires out of balance, tie rods like Drone said, wheel bearings loose/need service, or possibly the king pin bearings. I'd check in that order...

If it is the tie rods, or wheel bearing you want to get it fixed soon.  Those go out while driving and it could be very bad.

Mine probably needs new tie rod ends, and some new wheel bearings.  its just an issue of money.
