you need to replace the pump, could be loose backing plate or the internal
seal that is blown, but either way just replace it, they don't cost that much
and you will ruin the engine if you don't.
Now for the fun part, you will need to remove the pan to do the pump right
so it won't leak at the front pan seal, at least drop it down a bit to get the
sealer in there. I tried to half ass do mine 2 times, ended up doing it a 3rd time
dropping the pan so just bite the bullet and do it right the first time.
There were 2 studs on my engine at the front that hold the pump on,
I pulled those out and replaced them with bolts instead, you might have to do
the same, remove the radiator, fan, cover and timing belt, depending on the
mileage you might as well change the water pump and the timing belt while you
are torn down that far, it just makes sense
