I'm on the hunt for 1 inch wheel spacers.  I've heard great things about spidertrax, but they are awfully expensive.  Has anybody found any other high quality 1 inch spacers for less than $100/pair?

if ur runnin a 2dr 4cyl why not just buy new wheels, the price of spacers is high without question

I am planning on getting new black steelies out of summit.  My understanding is that many of these aftermarket wheels won't fit the trackers w/o spacers due to brake size?

depends, what size wheel do you have now? if your truck a v6?

and even with a wheel spacer, some rims still wont fit without some caliper grinding....


and for what its worth, the spidertracks ones where the cheapest i found.....by about 100 bucks less than everywhere else....

My tracker is a 4cyl 2003 2 door.  It came with the 15 inch aluminum rims stock.

You won't need wheel spacers. It's only the V6 models that need wheel spacers due to their larger calipers.

That is not true. My 01 4-door 2.0L would not fit certain styles of 15" rims...Unique Soft 8 rims come to mind. My Vitara came stock with 16" rims though so it probably has the bigger calipers as well. Right now I am running 15" rims from a Sidekick and they clear the calipers fine, but they don't have enough backspacing so my tires rub on my frame when I turn.

I would go to a tire and wheel shop and have them order one of each of a few different styles(if they'll do it). Then you can test fit each style and see what fits. Thats what we do at my shop, then as long as we don't mount a tire on them we can send  back the ones we don't need.

I would avoid wheel spacers if I could.  I  have a 2003 Tracker ZR2.  I have Eagle Alloy 102 wheels in 15 x 7, 235/75/15.  No tire rub in front, rear tire outer edge will hit the wheel arch if the axle goes straight up.  If one side goes up and the other down the tire will tuck into the fender.  The front brake calipers clear the inside face of the wheels, but I put the wheels on when the brake pads were about 1/2 worn.  When I replace the pads, if the calipers rub on the wheels I will just mill off some of the pad material to gain the needed clearance.  The center section of the Eagle Alloy wheels is thicker than stock and I did change all 20 wheel studs to obtain enough thread engagement on the lug nuts.

Remember that Jeep CJ, Bronco, older ford f-150 also fit Suzuki hole pattern. There are a lot out there for the Jeep.
