I don't think the melting would of come from sinking the Tracker, looks
like they were melted before and the water finished off the relay

That relay looks like what they call the control relay. Controls starter and fuel pump. I'm confused what is DRL?

Daytime running lights, there the only thing affected... in the 2nd pic just above the RY u can see the little "switch" that is engaged when the vehicle is turned on,which turns the day time lights on. they are the only thing thats affected, i figured it was a relay of some sort but didnt know what it was called. it seems its only job it to turn the DRL' on and one when the vehicle is on or off. if i engage that switch and keep it engaged the lights stay on and dont turn off.

do the head lights work when you turn them on?

the thing with metal contacts is the relay, no cover on it, and there should be

the head lights work if i engage that little switch, other then that only the highbeems work. i took the cover off the relay to get pics of it.. and it was melted to F**k half of it was missing.

Pull that melted mess off the plug and replace it with another one that's not damaged.
I think that would fix it, sounds like the relay is what controls the DRLs, which use the
high beam bulb during the day, the relay probably controls night time lights low beam.

Unless you are legally required to have DRLs, you could rewire that mess to work only
with the switch inside the trucklet, otherwise find a replacement part
