Generally speaking a 40W amp will out-perform a 40W deck all day long. Go into a good car audio store, and listen for yourself. I can hear the difference, other's cant... if you can't hear the difference, consider yourself one of the lucky ones... you don't have to spend as much $$$ to get the same satisfaction  ;D

but ive getting lazy (and old  :P)

and dont play music as much as i used to
