So i've heard, so will Aisins off Samurais.  Might want to verify that.  A shop worker at Calmini told me that, since the front of his Tracker has Samurai Aisins from a junkyard

You usually need to fit a thick gasket/shim under the Aisins to allow for the thickness of the circlip, the Sammy has no circlip there.

there is a mod needed to put the samurai ones on a tracker....not sure what to do but they are not direct swap. You can put the tracker onto the samurai.

A few years back I put some new hubs on our land cruiser plow truck....a few weeks later the 4x4 didn't work...I looked and someone had stolen the center gear out of both hubs.

TracKick to TracKick swaps will work.

After a lot of examination with my Samurai and TracKick fleet, I do not recommend Samurai to TracKick hub swaps.

They require precision modifications involving the use of machining equipment not available to the average backyard mechanic.

If those modifications are not done, you risk creating a gap at the inside hub seal  - the one on the back of the hub assembly where the CV shaft enters the hub - that will easily let dirt/water/mud into the hub bearing.  This, of course, wil drastically shorten the bearing life and result in you spending lots of money!

It is FAR CHEAPER to find a set of TracKick hubs (manual or automatic) for your TracKick than to "adapt"  Samurai hubs for the purpose.

There is a red neck way of putting Sami hubs on a kick. You need to remove the snap ring holding the axle on the kick and then bolt the inner hub gear to the axle. I can find a right up I did once if it's needed. And doing it this way does not creat the gap Ack was talking about.
