Tracker missing
« on: June 10, 2009, 11:42:06 AM »
So I put my body lift, coil spacers and large tires on. I didn't get 2 miles when it starts sputtering and missing. Thinking I must have pulled a sensor or something I can't find anything. So I go get an obd 2 reader and it pulls code P0135 which is code for bank1 sensor1 the Ho2s. Does anyone know what or where that is?

When I tried to do the I/M scan it said: cat not ready, 02s not ready, Ho2s not ready, and EGR not ready.

So if someone else has been through this I would appreciate any help.

I just saw someone else posted about the P0135 code, so I know where it is. Will that also cause my not ready codes on everything else?

Not ready usually just means that it hasn't been driven far enough/fast enough for the diagnostic tests to be done. Have you disconnected the battery lately?

I think I got this all sorted out. Changed the o2 sensor. Then got another reading. I had a loose spark plug, changed the plugs and wires. Runs like a champ now. I just got a cap & rotor to put on it. I don't think this tracker was maintained 100%.

The larger tires didn't kill my power as bad as I expected. 30.5x9.5, but I do get rubbing at full lock. This should be a fun family trail machine. Just need the roll cage and maybe bumpers and winch.
