Sounds like you simply had a bad connection at the fuse. You might have fixed the problem.

So, about a couple weeks ago I thought that my ticking days were over...

Out of the blue my left turn signal light kept blinking. I tried to switch to the right turn signal, but the left light was alway on.

I didnt want to keep driving with a blinking light, so I took out the Fuse.

Can anybody help.

Do you think it is the fuse? or Bulb?

Yeah I would agree. If the left flasher is staying on even when you switch directions. I would say the signal switch is shorted out!

So last night a buddy and myself went hunting for the ticking noise.

We changed out the Flasher, but it wasnt the problem.

We are going to take the steering colum off and see what we can find in there.

We'll also check and replace the lights.

Taking the column off will tell you nothing. The combination switch is behind the steering wheel. There is nothing above the column or further down it.

What does the Combination switch look like and where can I find it?

Thanks. I would have found out today that taking on the steering colum was pointless...

When you pull apart the bottom of your steering collum you will see the switch, it is a pretty simple system to take apart.

Make sure you dismantle it over something with sides though, there is a ball bearing that is used as part of the rocker held in with a spring.  It likes to pop out during the disassembly process and roll away on the shop floor.

The combination switch it the turn signal switch! It is attached to the turn signal lever!
