GV 4.5" lift
« on: September 08, 2009, 01:52:06 AM »
In relation to the recent post of harsh ride using Pro comp ES 1000. Another concern is the "humming" sound of the propeller shaft. I used 3/4" T6 shafting spacer on the propeller shaft to compensate for the lift, had a 3/4" lowered transfer case cross member fabricated but still encounter the humming sound.

I suspect the need to lower the transfer case crossmember. Has anybody experienced the same problem? I welcome inputs

pinion angle was retained. from the angle of inclination of the propeller shaft going to the transfer case is gradual, not steep with no stress points on the yolks.
