Wheel bearing maintainance.
« on: June 08, 2008, 01:29:14 PM »
Well I finally replaced that pesky axle seal.
So I thought I might as well repack the wheel bearing.
Then I thought heck if I'm gonna do this side I might as well do the other side.
So after a hour and a half I'm done.

Well done!   ;)   I did mine as well! Not too bad a job. Backing off the e-brake cable for clearance and getting that funky ratchet tooth adjuster bracket set where it needs to be during brake assembly.

I posted info and pics on the "other" forum if NE1 is interested.

Did you grease the bearing with a good wheel bearing grease?
