Two inch lift.
« on: February 04, 2008, 08:18:35 PM »
I'm going to do the 2" body lift I'm wondering if I should use 2"X 3" tubing to do this?If you cut the tubing so that you had a 3" square it would give a bigger pad for the body puck to fit on.Or will 2"X 2" big enough for the pad to sit on?Also a 2" tubing will actually give a 2.5" lift won't it? As part of the body puck fits down inside the frame bracket about 1/2" or am I wrong about this? And will 1/8" tubing be ok or should it be 3/16".
It's a 95 16V 5spd 2door.
Thanks!

2x3" would work better to disperse the load on the rubber thingy.
