Heater control replacement
« on: January 19, 2008, 04:22:11 PM »
I want to replace my heater blower switch and put on some new cables on my 87 Sammy. I have gotten all the bolts loose on the dash, but according to the service manual, I should be able to disconnect the controls from the dash unit, but I dont see any bolts or screws.  It looks like plastic to plastic.  Any suggestions.

Mean Green Wheeling Machine

It's not a Jeep thing, it's not a Suzuki thing, or a Chevy,Ford thing.
It's a wheeling thing now get out and do it!

First, take all the knobs off the levers, I believe you tilt up but what ever you do, just be gentile with them and ease them off. Then stick a hook through the face piece and carefully pull it out. You'll find some screws. Hope that helps. ;)
