A couple days of work and the finished product
« on: October 28, 2007, 12:23:52 AM »
Spent the last couple days working on my Tracker, picked it up for $700 bone stock from an old lady who bought it back in 95.
Things I did:
Home made 3" body lift
1.5" front coil spacer (strut mount flip)
2" Rear coil spacer (crown vic struts)
31" tires (minor fender trimming)
15x8 2.5bs rims
2 Hella lights
Home made light bar

The body-lift went on w/ a breeze and only cost me $20, so for those of you that are debating whether or not to try it, GO FOR IT! its not bad at all and youll save alot of money. Plus, its extra rewarding knowing that you fabbed the kit yourself.

The coil spacers werent TOO bad, the fronts took me 3hrs ish, working leisurely, i tried to do it w/out unbolting the axles, but once I did the whole front suspension dropped enough for me to slip everything in/out. The rears took less then 5mins.
I love my rig, Ive never had anything like it before, I build import cars for a living, so this is a nice change.
