Flushing axles
« on: October 16, 2007, 04:29:29 PM »
so i got my toyota axle and drained out what resembles digested mexican food... so i filled it with diesel, like the guy at the AC Delco said, and drained it... twice. the stuff still looks like it came out of the sewer and i was wondering if i should just go ahead and fill it with the oil or flush it some more. do i need to flush it with anything else or is the remaining diesel not going to be a problem with the oil im going to put in?

and what's the stock axle gearing on samurai axles?

take it to the quarter car wash and give it a good one then dry it well. the one we have here has the engine degreaser its green and nasty, would clean any burrito.
