MORE LIFT!!!!????
« on: September 29, 2007, 01:54:05 PM »
I currently have a 97 4dr. Sport with my 2" coil spacers and a 3" body lift. I want more suspension lift, not so much for HEAVY wheeling more for looks and occasional fun. What are my options other than SAS? ??? I am willing to drop the front t-case and extend whatever else is needed. I just want some ideas as to how some of you guys get more with less, if you know what I mean. >:D

go with coil lift like say 2 inch coil lift and your spring spacers... gives ya about 4 inches.  I have 4 door 3 inch coil lift springs in my 2 door currently.  Gives me about 3-4 inches of lift.

Did you drop your transfer case? How are the CV's holding up?

Nope everything is in place, the angles arent as bad as I thought they would be.  I just broke a driverside CV yesterday, but it wasnt because of the angles or anything to do with the lift.  2 bolts fell out of my passengerside front diff mount and the 3rd was almos all the way out.   My diff moved alot and stressed the driverside CV.  glad I went under there to check things out could have been alot worse
