Looking at 08 Gv
« on: June 04, 2008, 07:00:01 PM »
I'm new to this site and I hope this topic isn't exhausted, but lately I've been looking at buying a new mid sized suv and the 08 GV caught my eye. I'm just wondering what the gas mileage is like? Currently I drive a 96 GMC Sierra pick up and I get about 500 Kms per 100 litres hopefully it's better than that. Also how does the 4wd system work on the JX model? Does it come in 2wd with selectable 4wd or is it full time 4wd? If it is full time 4wd what does 4H lock and 4L lock mean? And give your honest opinon is this a good reliable vehicle? Also is the interior cheaply made what I'm trying ask is does it rattle and shake. Sorry for all the question but I've always been a loyal GM guy and I've never know anybody to drive a zuki, plus to get a honest answer is hard to find now a days.

Thanks  Joel.

My new 2008 GV V6 4x4 has about 700-800 miles on the odometer and I've been getting 18 City & 23 Highway = 22 Combined MPG... (should be 1-3 MPG high once the engine breaks in).

Sorry, I have no clue how many Liters per Km that is... I live in the US where our measurements make sense.  haha

Anyway, it is RWD with Auto 4x4... the 4H & 4L are if you want to LOCK the system in 4x4, instead of letting the computer decide what to do.
