Got a question. What is the difference between the soft top of a 94 tracker and a 96 tracker? I can get a brand new 94 soft top for $160 and the 96 is almost $100 more. Can't see much difference in them, but there has to be something to this!

They are different. The hardware that mounts them is different too. One can get all the hardware from an early model and convert the late model to the early model. Then the less expensive tops will fit.

   The side windows don't zip out on the older tops, and attach differently to the body.  The way the rear window attaches to the body is different.  The header above the windshield is different.  I'm thinking the older has an additional bar across the back as well, or maybe its the other way around, the newer ones have it?  That's all I can think of.
