TBI spacer
« on: February 01, 2007, 06:03:06 PM »
;D  has anyone tried this TBI spacer or any parts from this website?
http://www.psychowheeling.net/suzuki_performance_products.html
I have been trying to get a TBI spacer and a underdrive pulley from this website and I can't get an answer back.
Does anyone know them or have somebody else I can try?
Thanks

from my experience, on many different vehicles, throttle body spacers dont do any good

i thought they messed with the torque curve by either lowering the rpm in which you get the most torque or vise versa cant recall which tho'

I have one from Rotational Dynamics.  The one you seen on that link is the same.  Honestly, I did that, added a Kick runner, Kick 1.6L head, ported and polished, Calmini Samurai mid-range cam, K&N and CALMINI Header and bored exhast all at the same time.  All together, it added a big boost and kept pace with a 16v.

A Spacer just elongated the intake, allowing more time for the fuel and air to mix, resulting in better combustion, or so they say.  I just like adding kewl bits.  8)

I had an airaid TBI spacer on one of my XJ's and it did nothing noticable.

I want one of these only becasue it will level my intake hose back out since the body lift...

It reaches right now, but it is stetched to the max. The TBI spacer will help...and maybe (doubtfully) help with the gas consumtion.
