I love my Warn M6000.  It's gotten me out of all kinds of jams.

I was having a look at Opposite Lock's Man-made Tree/Ground Anchor. Be pretty easy to knock one up.

I have a warn M8000 and I like it alot. I need to replace the cable it is kinda messed up in spots. Also it has wound up on it self.. what is a good way to undo this. i was thinking of hookin up ot a tree and with the winch in free spool backing up slowly to try and fix it. Would this be okay?

I had a mile marker hydraulic wich on my old dodge pick up and it would pull for days but it kad a slow line speed.

I used a Jeep Grand Cherokee as a winch point once.  Did you know that Jeep Grand Cherokees don't have any winching points?  I wrapped the cable around the front axle!!!  No, I don't carry any ground anchors.  But with 175 feet of line, I can usually get to SOMETHING!
