ok i know that a 79-85 chevy altanador will give me more power in my sammi...but will it plug right in?.....or will i need to make or buy and wire set for it....... i know i need the lower alt bracket.....

define more power!  ;D The alt will give you more power to run stereos and winches. You will need to do some simple wiring. there is a write-up on www.off-road.com I think
