I just dropped my tranny and transfer case out of my kick for a 4.24 tranny gear instal, new clutch, and a transmission rebuild. i have the clutch and transfer case under control and i was just wondering how hard it is to rebuild the transmission myself. i have a rebuild kit with bearings and sincros. is there any special clearences that need to be addressed or can i just bolt it all back togeather and let her go? Or should i just take it in to a tranny guy and let him do his thing? or if anyone knows of any sites or forums that would help that would be great.
