Opinions on '95 Sidekick with 144,000

What problems can I expect with a Sidekick with that many miles?  Any problems with the 95's?

well considering  i have a 91 with 264,000 and still purring like a kittin, with just regular maint, i think you should be ok..( ;)

Right off the bat be sure to change the timing belt. If it has not been changed it is definately time. Besides that, go through it, make sure it was maintained well, all of the wear items (breaks, clutch, tires, belts, etc...) are OK and has properly lubed and greased. If it is and still running fine, you should have no problems out of it.

1. change timing belt unless you have proof from the last time it was done.

2. Make sure to do a basic tune [ spark plugs, headlights, cap and rotor, wires ETC ].

3. Get all the fluids changed [ synthetic if you can afford ]

4. alignment and wheel bearing check.

If the machine is running good and your not having problems, after doing this stuff you should be good to go. Suzukis are good vechicles for the most part.

Your biggest problem is going to be affording the
gas because they are so much fun to wheel in  ;)

Not a problem in Illinois since there is no place to wheel within 100 miles of Chicago.
