Hey guys,
I would just like some imput on the lift im building.

Front:
Stock Coil 2" Spacer
Stock Strut w/ 3.5" Spacer
**Possibly a 1" front diff drop if needed**

Rear:
Nissan 180sx Coils
1" spacer
3.5" Ball Joint Spacer
2wd Ford F-150 Shocks

Other:
31" Mud or Baby Boggers
4" Gas tank lift
3" Body Lift


I jus thought I would talk to you guys and see if you think there are any things a should add or change.  I'm going to be getting my L soon and am going to start putting my lift together.

With that kind of front lift you'll need more than just a 1" diff drop! I would say at least a 2" diff drop, otherwise your cv's wont be happy!

Well, A 2" spacer should give me 3" of lift.    I will probably only do a 2" spacer in the front

On average, people installing my 1-1/2" spacers up front have been reporting a lift of 2-1/4". Also I know from personal experience with my own truck that this is as high as I would go without lowering the diff to match. In fact I think that this is even kind of high without any diff lowering because in a couple of different situations in the woods under full lock/full droop, the cv joint/cage thing has tried to pull apart on me...

So, with a 2" coil spacer and a 1" diff drop i will be ok?

I am going to be putting a 1" diff drop into my truck that's running 1-1/2" front coil spacers, 4 door springs and OME struts. By adding 1/2" of coil spacer, you'll be adding around 3/4" of lift over what I have, so based on that I would lower the diff at least 1-1/2" total to go with your 3" lift...

A 2" spacer is going to give you more than 3" - your looking about 3.5", I calculated my 1.75" spacers to give me 3", so I trimmed them to 1.25" to get exactly 2" lift in the front. I made a jig to figure it out, I was a little under, it was about 1/16 shy of 2".
