"Shocking" ? for Gear

Hey Gear,
I saw somewhere that you were using a Rancho shock for the rear of your lifted GV.  Is it longer than the one supplied with your Calmini lift?  Is it the longest you can safely fit, or can you go longer still without causing shock damage due to bottoming?
