It has been my personal experience that getting a good quality OEM style wire set is your best bet. People hawking big HP increases from ignition are full of baloney. It isn't worth the extra money, especially on such small engines as our zukes have :)

SOME aftermarket wire sets are strictly appearance items, and actually perform far WORSE than standard equipment. I have seen my share of after dark spark shows under the hoods of the local neighborhood rice rockets :)

Kids these days just kill me with their stickers, fart cannons, chinese/japanese characters they don't even know what they mean etc... Dropping the suspension down till it sparks on every bump in the road.... I guess to each their own

I just bought a set of autolite life time wires 7mm. about 39.00, plugs I like the stock ones like ngk,or bosch, no platinum junk, I have tried about every kind of plug and end up going back to stock, same with the wires, I wasted alot of money trying to find more h.p. but so far the k&n air filter and the 2" exhaust 30 wt oil with prolong added(that helped alot)and a wix oil filter and a gas additive for the crap gas they have nowadays, thats about it other than loosing all the weight you can from your rig be it tires or thinner rims, carpet ,ect.

I bought a set of Aurora plug wires.. 8mm  Very nice..  Excellent fit.  I bought a set of Nigheoff  (pardon the lack of spelling) replacement wires.  Good product, bad fit.  Aurora is a local high performance ignition specialist here in the Fraser Valley.  Paid about $65 Cad. They sell wires and high output ignitions for just about everything.  As for plugs. I got a regular set of Champion plugs..  for some reason my Sidekick hates Platinum plugs. Seems to have the same attitude for valves too..

Champion plugs   :P

Never had any good luck with those plugs
Denso or NGKs are good, I use Bosch and
have never been disappointed with them

this isn't exactly on the subject of plugs and wires, but ignition nonetheless....   has anyone ever used the MSD stuff?  i used to have a 6AL and blaster 2 coil...   i've never tried it on the tracker, or have never heard of anybody using them.... but they make an offroad version....   i don't know how to explain what it does... instead of having one spark each time the piston turns, it gives off several sparks, and makes the fuel burn better....

ahh, found the box in my closet... here's what it claims :     "more spark energy and power"... "quickens throttle response".... " improves idle and starting"... "increases economy"... "superior performance"             oh... and this too: "the MSD 6 series ignitions produce a sequence of powerful multiple sparks for every firing of a spark plug. These sparks ensure complete cumbustion of the fuel mixture resulting in more power and performance"
