I helped put some 2'' spacers on a friends samurai and he runs terra tires 31x13.5 and some other kind of 33's with no prob. we ran steens mountains over rocks for nine days no problems that I could see.

I am going to run them on my 33" ProComp equipped Samurai ( do already use them now with the small tires, but that doesn't count ;) ) but am not worried. The ones I use passed the German TÃœV test, the toughest test there is, so they must be good ( although still not allowed by Dutch law  :-X :-X )

I used to run Wheel spaces till I went Yota axles.  Ran them for a little over a year.  Worked fine.  Just make sure you put on locktite to hold the wheel spacer to the hubs.
