I think the ECM will cope witht he smaller engine
just fine, besides EFI is a cleaner runner than a
carb, and it don't stall out on hills
As far as a 1.6 head on a 1.3, they are the same
bolt holes and all, the only problem I had was the
1.6 head has no fuel pump location for a carb, but
I don't think you are going to need that, ohh and
the distributor for the 1.3 in the 1.6 head, has a tip
on the end of the 1.3 dizzy that won't let it seat all
the way, so I just cut it off, but you won't need the
1.3 dizzy either, you will need to use the 1.6 dizzy
to trigger the EFI system, keep the 1.6 and the 1.3
distributor drive housings on their respective heads,
I could never see what the problem was, but they
don't seem to interchange right.
