89-93 gas tanks

Just hoping that someone might know if a tank from an 89' two door 1.4 would be able to be put on a 93' four door 1.6 both 4 cyl.

I believe the 4 door tank is bigger than the 2 door tank.  I don't think it will fit.

Well, the 2-door tank is smaller (11.1 gallons) than the 4-door tank (14.5 gallons) so it ought to fit.

The early (89) tank is 10.2, so the
later, say 90 or 91 tank is a better
tank with a gallon or so more fuel
capacity, I thought by looking at the
two tanks that they are the same
footprint, but one is taller than the
other
